iPhone just days away from release

November 6th, 2007

This Friday evening will see the release of the eagerly anticipated Apple iPhone. The long-awaited UK launch of the device, which is available exclusively on the O2 network, is expected to draw huge crowds and widespread interest in the run up to Christmas.

Customers will be able to purchase the new iPhone from O2’s website, the Apple online store, as well as from the Carphone Warehouse come the 9th November.

The iPhone is a revolution in function and design, incorporating a widescreen iPod and Apple Safari web browser into one sleek multi-touch mobile phone.

So how much will it cost? The 8GB iPhone will set you back £269 and at least £35 a month on the lowest tariff. For this you get 200 free minutes and text messages, access to 7500 Wi-Fi ‘hotspots’, plus unlimited data usage.
